Project Description: Bent’s Opera House is an imposing three-story corner commercial building that is an anchor building in the Village of Medina’s Main Street Historic District. Also known as Bent's Hall, it is one of the oldest surviving theaters in the nation, having been built at the height of the US Civil War and opening in 1865. EPIP loan proceeds were used to stabilize the front facade of the building which was in danger of collapse, as a first step toward the complete rehabilitation and reuse of the structure.

Project Status: Restoration continuing to create a restaurant, boutique hotel and event space.
