Project Description: An EPIP loan assisted the group in acquiring two important historic residences in the Rutger Park section of the city. These 19th-century landmarks were placed on the League’s Seven to Save endangered properties list in 2006 for their significance and the threat they faced. Vacant for a number of years the group is working to restore them and find a public use.
Project Status: Landmarks Society of Greater Utica continues to restore the buildings and use them for public events.
