HALPS Presents the “Hello, HAL!” Photo Contest
The Hudson-Athens Lighthouse Preservation Society (HALPS) is pleased to announce this summer’s Hello, HAL! photo contest. From August 1 to September 1, send HALPS your photos of the super photogenic Hudson-Athens Lighthouse for a chance to win the grand prize. Participants over 18, or with permission, can enter their photos of the lighthouse. HALPS will award prizes to three 1st place winners and three runners-up. And to one talented photographer, HALPS will award the Keeper’s Prize. This grand prize includes a private tour of the Lighthouse, family membership benefits for a year, a certificate recognizing you as Honorary Lighthouse Keeper, a HALPS gift shop item of your choice, and much more!
You can submit photo entries three ways: via email to halpsoffice@gmail.com; post your entry on the HALPS Facebook page; or submit your photo as an Instagram post or story by tagging us @hudsonathenslighthouse. Be sure to label your post with the contest hashtag #helloHAL. HALPS will announce the winners over Labor Day Weekend with outrageous public recognition.
